STATYSTYKI LISTY BILLBOARD / BILLBOARD'S STATISTICS





Najdłuższą piosenką, która dotarła na sam szczyt listy Billboard była
"I'd do anything for love (but I won't do that)" Meat Loaf,
Trwała aż 12:01!!! 
Natomiast "Stay" Maurice Williamsa & The Zodiacs była najkrótszym numerem 1 - jedynie 1:50. Piosenka była wykorzystana w filmie "Dirty dancing".

Jedynym zespołem w historii, którego utwory zajęły pierwszą 5 listy, jest The Beatles. Oni również najczęściej gościli na szczycie listy Billboard Hot 100.

Trzykrotnie zdarzyło się, aby single, które nie zajęły miejsca pierwszego na liście, zwyciężyły w podsumowaniu rocznym. Były to:
  • "Wolly Bully" Sam The Sham z 1965 roku,
  • "Breathe" Faith Hill z 2000 roku,
  • "Hanging by a moment" Lifehouse z 2001 roku.


The longest song to reach number one on the Billboard charts on LP was "I'd Do Anything For Love (But I Won't Do That)" by Meat Loaf. 
It lasted 12:01!!!
The shortest song was "Stay" by Maurice Williams & The Zodiacs - only 1:50. This song was used on "Dirty Dancing" soundtrack.

The Beatles was the only group in history, whose songs took the whole "top five". They also hold the record for most number-one hits on the Billboard Hot 100. 

Only three singles in history was named Billboards's Number One Record of the Year despite never reaching No. 1 on a weekly Hot 100:
  • "Wooly Bully" Sam The Sham (1965),
  • "Breathe" Faith Hill (2000),
  • "Hanging by a Moment" Lifehouse (2001).
